This Privacy Policy explains how Okyanusi Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use digitalmarketmentoring.com (the “Website”) and our courses, memberships and digital services (the “Services”).

2. Personal Data We Collect
- Account data: name, email address, username and password (stored only as a cryptographic hash) when you register.
- Order and billing data: purchase history, billing name/address and transaction references. Full payment card details are processed directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
- Learning data: course progress, lesson completion, quiz results and community activity.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, collected via cookies and similar technologies (see section 6).
- Communications: messages you send us by email or through forms.
3. How and Why We Use Your Data (Lawful Bases)
- Performing our contract with you: creating and administering your account, delivering purchased courses and memberships, processing payments and providing support.
- Legitimate interests: improving the Website and Services, preventing fraud and abuse, keeping our systems secure, and understanding how the Services are used.
- Consent: sending marketing emails (you can unsubscribe at any time) and setting non-essential cookies/analytics where required.
- Legal obligations: tax, accounting and consumer-law record keeping.
4. Third-Party Processors and Recipients
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe acts as an independent controller for payment data; see Stripe’s privacy policy.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — website usage analytics, loaded via Google Tag Manager (GTM), subject to your cookie choices.
- Hosting, email and content-delivery providers — who process data on our behalf under contract.
Where these providers process data outside the United Kingdom, transfers are safeguarded by adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to EU Standard Contractual Clauses, as applicable.
5. Data Retention
- Account data: kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymised within 12 months of account closure, unless longer retention is required by law.
- Order, invoice and transaction records: kept for 6 years from the end of the financial year they relate to (UK tax and accounting requirements).
- Support correspondence: kept for up to 24 months.
- Analytics data: retained according to the retention settings of the relevant tool (GA4 default: up to 14 months).
6. Cookies and Analytics

You have the right to: access your personal data; have inaccurate data rectified; have your data erased (“right to be forgotten”); restrict or object to processing; data portability; withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal); and not be subject to solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effect.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including TLS encryption, access controls and hashing of passwords — to protect your personal data. No internet transmission is completely secure; please keep your credentials confidential.
